When trying to make calls from your Aircall App, you might come across situations where you cannot connect to a number.
This can be caused by different factors:
Connection/Network issues
When you are trying to make calls, you may see an orange banner showing an error on the phone app, or may see options greyed out on the phone. In order to prevent these problems, it is crucial to ensure that you have a reliable internet connection. To find out more about Network Requirements, please visit this article. Additionally, the device and/or headset you choose to use can significantly impact the quality of your calls and overall communication experience. To find recommendations on what devices and headsets are best suited for use with Aircall, visit Device and Headset Recommendations.
Dialing non-Aircall-compatible numbers
“Short Numbers” or numbers that have short digit sequences (4-6 digits) and are significantly shorter than typical telephone numbers are not available for most customers within Aircall due to limitations. Examples include dialing 3631 (La Poste) or any marketing or promotional number. To find out more about short numbers, visit Dialing Emergency or Short Numbers.
Calling to China
Due to restrictions, utilizing a Chinese number for outgoing calls is not feasible with Aircall. Chinese numbers can only be used for incoming calls (inbound). For further information regarding call restrictions in China, please refer to this article.
Calling a country not included in your plan
There might be countries to which you cannot make calls because those countries are not included in your plan. For more information, please visit: This number is blocked when calling overseas.
