Preparing your device and headset before using Aircall helps ensure the best call quality. The sections below outline the requirements for compatible computers, browsers, mobile devices, and headsets.
Computer requirements
Aircall supports the following operating systems:
- Windows
- Mac Intel
- Mac Apple Silicon
Minimum specifications:
- 64 bit Windows 10 or Windows 11, or macOS 10.16 or later
- Intel i5 dual core (12th gen, 2021) or Apple M1 processor, or equivalent
- At least 8 GB RAM
- Minimum screen resolution of 1280 × 720 (HD)
Important: Microsoft Surface devices are compatible with the Aircall web app when using Google Chrome. The desktop app is supported only on models released from 2012 onward. Older models such as Surface RT (Windows 8) are not supported.
Important: The Aircall desktop app is not supported on Linux or on Chromebooks.
Important: The Aircall web app is not supported on iPad.
Note: The use of remote or virtual computers is not recommended for Aircall.
Web browser requirements
Aircall is supported only on the most recent version of Google Chrome.
Mobile requirements
- iOS 17.0 or later
- Android 9.0 or later
The Aircall iOS app is compatible with iPad.
Tip: If your organization uses security or firewall software, confirm with your IT team that Aircall has full access. If Aircall is not approved, it may interfere with your ability to make or receive calls.
Important: The Aircall mobile app is not recommended for iPads.
Headset requirements
To ensure consistent VoIP performance, Aircall recommends using a professional stereo headset.
Aircall recommends the Jabra Evolve 40 UC Stereo headset. It is available with both USB and mini jack connectors, making it suitable for Mac and Windows computers.
Recommendations by operating system:
- Windows: Use a wired USB headset.
- macOS: Use a wired mini jack headset.
Wireless devices such as Bluetooth headsets or earphones can be used, but wired connections generally provide more stable performance. If you choose a wireless headset, you may experience call quality issues that Aircall cannot troubleshoot.
Important: Corsair brand headsets are not supported for use with Aircall.
