Aircall Workspace can be accessed from your browser or as a desktop or mobile application. Once you are added to your company account, you can log in, set up your device, and begin making and receiving calls.
Accessing Aircall Workspace
You can use Aircall Workspace in two ways:
- Open it in the Chrome browser at https://workspace.aircall.io/
- Download the application for your operating system and device.

Getting started
Follow these steps once your account Admin has created your agent account:
- Your Admin adds you to the Aircall account, following the process described in the article Managing individual users in the Aircall Dashboard.
- You receive an invitation email sent by your Admin.
- Open the email and accept the invitation.
- Follow the link to create your password.
Important: Your password must be at least 8 characters and include:
- 1 lowercase letter
- 1 uppercase letter
- 1 digit
- 1 special character [*.! @#$%^&(){}[]:;<>,.?/~_+-=| ]
- Download the Aircall Workspace app for your device or open it in Chrome at https://workspace.aircall.io/
- Log in using your email and password.
Important: If Google Sign-in or SAML Authentication is enabled for your company, you must authenticate using Google or your identity provider. Password login will not work unless you are a privileged user.
- Select your preferred language.
- Ensure you have granted microphone access to Aircall.
- If you are located in the United States or Canada, add an emergency address when prompted.
- Follow the guided tour to learn about the Aircall Workspace interface and features.
Note: If your Account Admin has not assigned you to at least one phone number, you will not be able to make or receive calls. You will see the message "No lines available" when trying to start a conversation.
Once a number is assigned to you, it will appear in your list of available numbers.
Making a call in Aircall Workspace
Follow the steps below to initiate a call:
- Open Aircall Workspace.
- Click Start a conversation.
- If you are assigned to multiple numbers, choose the line you want to call from.
- Search for a saved contact or Aircall teammate, or type in a number.
- You can also open the keypad to dial manually.
- Click Call now to start the call.
Note: If you enter a number without a country calling code, Aircall automatically applies your default country code.
To change the country code before calling:
- Click the country flag in the upper left corner and select the correct country, or
- Type the country code directly on your keyboard
You can also set a new default country code from this view if needed.
In-call features
Aircall Workspace includes several features you can use during a call.
Quality notifications
You can view your connection status during the call. If call quality issues occur, a notification will appear in the upper corner. Clicking the tooltip displays a description of the issue. You can then return to the in-call screen.

Network and headset status
You can view your network connection type and call quality indicators, as well as confirm that your headset is connected.

Call recording
You can manually start or stop recording. If call recording is enabled for your number in the Aircall Dashboard, it will start automatically.

Important: Check that call recording is legal in your country or region before activating it.
Conference calls
You can add a teammate, a saved contact, or a new number by selecting the + button.

Call transfers
When transferring a call, choose Talk first for a warm transfer or Transfer now for a cold transfer.
Important: Internal Aircall to Aircall calls cannot be transferred.

Tags and notes
Select Tags & notes to add notes or apply tags during the call. You can search for existing tags or select from the list.

Voicemail drop
If the recipient does not answer an outbound call, you can drop a voicemail. You may use the default message or select a different one.

Active Aircall number
Hover over the call icon to see which Aircall number is currently active for the call.
