Save time and maximize the number coverage per session, while minimizing manual tasks. No more switching between tools and copying and pasting phone numbers between calls. Post-call working time ensures accurate record keeping - no more missing notes or tags at the end of each dial.
Your dialing list is easily accessible from the Power Dialer page, and can be updated or launched at any time.
How to Access The Power Dialer
The Power Dialer feature is currently available on the Aircall Professional plan.
It is supported in Aircall Workspace on desktop and at workspace.aircall.io.
Mobile devices using the Aircall application will not be able to use the Power dialer.
Visit the Power Dialer page via the left sidebar for easy list import and dialing. To use the Power Dialer with the Chrome extension, make sure that you have the latest version installed from the Chrome web store.
How to add numbers to the list?
The Power Dialer works based on the imported list. There are several ways to integrate phone numbers into your Power Dialer list: import a CSV file, copy-paste numbers, or add numbers via Aircall's Chrome browser extension.
Import numbers via CSV file
To prepare a CSV file to import, please keep in mind these quick tips:
- File size is limited to 1MB or 1000 contacts
- Numbers must be in the E.164 format
- First column containing the numbers should have a “title”
- You can download a template by clicking “Download template” in the Import numbers view
⚠️ Please note: the importer only recognizes column A of a spreadsheet and all others are ignored. Please ensure numbers are stored in column A.
⚠️ Please note: if you use Google sheets, make sure that you download your list in the (.csv) format.
To import numbers via .CSV to the Power Dialer:
- Click the Import Numbers symbol in the My dialing list section of the Power Dialer page
- Drag and drop the CSV file with expected number format, or select it from the computer's internal documents
- Use a template by clicking Download template or create your own .csv file
Copy-paste numbers
When preparing a list please keep in mind these tips:
- Lists are limited to 1,000 contacts
- Numbers must be in the E.164 format
- Separator between values must be a comma or semicolon
Follow these steps:
- Click the Import Numbers symbol in the My dialing list section of the Power Dialer page
- Click Enter manually
- Copy & paste the numbers in the expected format, or enter them manually
- Hit Add numbers
Add numbers with Aircall’s browser extension
When you activate the Show numbers panel on pages in your Aircall browser extension, it automatically detects phone numbers in the web pages you visit and you can add them to your dialing list. You can find out more about how it works by reading this article.Manage list
From the Power Dialer page you can see the My dialing list with the number of imported numbers and the Start session button.
If the numbers are already known in the system you will see some contact details, otherwise only the number will be displayed.
From this view you can modify the list, if required. Delete numbers one by one or delete the list with the Delete all list button. Add more numbers by importing the new CSV file or by entering the numbers manually. Numbers added from the web pages with Chrome extension will be also integrated in this list (for more details see this article).
Errors and duplicates
In case of file format or size issues, you will be notified as follows:
- “Import failed - no numbers added. Please make sure your file is in .CSV format and try again”
- “Import failed - no numbers added. Please make sure your file contains a max of 1000 records and try again”
Invalid number format and duplicates are automatically rejected. If such a problem occurs, you will get a relevant summary and will be able to download errors:
- XX/XX numbers are imported successfully
- X errors and X duplicates are detected.
If none of these errors seem relevant you can skip this step and either move to dialing Skip and move to dialing or go Back to import to add more numbers.
Manage dialing session
Click on “Start Session” from the Power Dialer view to begin dialing. Select the phone line you would like to use for this outbound calling session. This setting will be applied to all numbers and cannot be changed during a session.Once the session has been started, calls will automatically be presented to you respecting the list order.
During the session you can manage a specific call:
- “Skip” and move to the next number in the queue
- View information linked to your CRM in the call view
- Tag or comment within the call
Or manage the whole session:
- Delete one or more numbers from the sequence except for the call in progress
- Delete the entire sequence selecting "Delete all list"
- Pause session to temporarily stop the calling sequence
Wrap-up Time
When using the Power Dialer, you benefit from the dedicated wrap-up time, if configured, after each call to add tags, notes or to do any necessary after call work. Once the wrap-up time expires the Power Dialer will automatically begin dialing the next number in the list.
If you have Mandatory Tagging enabled for your number, it will also pop up after the call as usual.
