Overview
Aircall’s browser extension lets you dial phone numbers directly from any webpage or add them to an automated calling list using the Power Dialer. It detects phone numbers on webpages and connects them seamlessly to Aircall Workspace, helping teams accelerate outbound calling and improve productivity.
Note: Aircall only supports the Google Chrome extension. The extension is fully compatible with Microsoft Edge, allowing Edge users to install and use it without switching browsers.

Install and log in to the extension
To get started, install the Aircall browser extension from the Google Chrome Web Store.
Steps:
Install the Aircall Dialer browser extension.
To activate the extension, click the Aircall extension icon in your browser toolbar (top right).
Log in using your Aircall credentials.
After logging in, you will see two panels:
Extension settings
Number panel
Each panel can be opened or closed as needed.
Extension settings
The Extension settings panel allows you to configure how phone numbers are detected and displayed.
From this screen, you can:
Show or hide the number panel on webpages.
Highlight detected phone numbers on webpages.
Detect hidden numbers on webpages.
Enable usage with Aircall Workspace.
Choose which local number formats to detect.
When Highlight phone numbers is enabled, detected numbers are highlighted in green and can be clicked directly to dial in Aircall Workspace.
Local number detection
In the Your local numbers section, you can select up to five countries whose local number formats the extension should recognize. The extension automatically detects numbers written in international format, including a country code, regardless of your local number selections.
Important: You must be assigned to at least one Aircall number from a country to detect that country’s local number formats.
Account actions
By clicking your initials or profile picture in the top right corner, you can:
Open Aircall Workspace
Log out of the extension
Tip: You can close the Extension settings by clicking anywhere on the webpage and reopen it at any time by clicking the Aircall extension icon again.
Number panel
The Number panel displays all phone numbers detected on the current webpage.
From the Number panel, you can:
Click a number to dial it in Aircall Workspace.
Add multiple numbers to a Power Dialer calling list.
Reorder detected numbers before adding them to the Power Dialer.
You can move the Number panel by dragging it using the three horizontal lines, or close it by clicking the green widget below the panel.
Tip: If you prefer not to see the panel, turn off "Show numbers panel on pages" in the Extension settings.
Click-to-Dial and Power Dialer usage
When visiting a webpage that contains phone numbers, the Number panel automatically lists each detected number.
Click the phone icon next to a number to immediately dial it in Aircall Workspace.
Additional actions
Click the three dots next to a number to:
Locate the number on the webpage.
Copy the phone number.
Note: If number highlighting is enabled in Extension settings, the "Show on page" option is unavailable because the number is already highlighted.
Local format indicator
If a number is detected in a local format, hover over the information icon next to the number to view details.
Tip: This indicator helps identify numbers that may have been detected because they match a local format, even if they are not actual phone numbers.
Using the Power Dialer
You can add detected numbers to a Power Dialer list instead of dialing them individually.
From the Number panel, you can:
Reorder numbers.
Select specific numbers or add them in bulk.
Continue browsing to collect more numbers before starting a dialing session.
If a number has already been added to your Power Dialer list, it appears in the Duplicate section and is not added again. Numbers identified as invalid appear in the Invalid section.
Once ready, click Open Aircall to switch to Aircall Workspace and begin dialing. You can find more information about the Power Dialer feature in our article Aircall Workspace: Using the Power Dialer
Important: The Power Dialer feature is available only on the Aircall Professional plan.
Displaying contact and company names
The browser extension can display contact details to help outbound teams identify who they are calling.
When a detected number belongs to an existing Aircall contact, the Number panel displays:
The contact’s name
The company name, if available
Note: The company name is shown only if it exists in the contact’s record. If no company is listed, only the contact’s name is displayed.
This feature helps agents quickly recognize contacts before using Click-to-Dial or adding numbers to a Power Dialer session.
