Number Reputation lets you monitor whether your Aircall numbers are flagged as spam by carrier networks. You can track the health status of each number directly in the Aircall Dashboard, and use that information to decide which numbers to use for outbound calls.
Number Reputation and Branded Caller ID are complementary, not interchangeable:
- Number Reputation helps you detect spam flags on your numbers so you can act on them, for instance by not selecting a flagged number for outbound calls.
- Branded Caller ID displays your company name and logo on the recipient's screen and, by improving pick-up rates, may positively influence how your numbers are perceived over time.
Neither feature guarantees spam flag removal.
What Number Reputation does and doesn't do
What it does:
- Shows the daily reputation status of each enrolled number: Healthy, Risk, or Spam with a label category.
- Surfaces contextual best-practice recommendations when a number shows a risk or spam signal.
- Shows reputation status when selecting an outbound number for a call or configuring a campaign pool, so you can avoid using flagged numbers.
- Links to the Numbers performance report in Analytics, so you can track pick-up rates and other calling indicators over time.
What it does not do:
- Prevent spam flagging caused by poor outbound calling behavior.
- Apply to messaging channels. It covers calls only.
Before you begin
Number Reputation is a consumption-based add-on available on any Aircall plan. It's billed per number registered, charged per daily status check. Please see the Aircall pricing page for details.
Available in the US, Canada, United Kingdom,, France, Spain, Coverage depends on your analytics provider's network integrations in each market. Contact your account manager or Aircall Support to confirm coverage for your market.
Important: Number Reputation shows the current state of your numbers, it doesn't fix the behavior that caused it. If a number is flagged, the most effective long-term fix is reviewing your team's outbound calling practices. Please see Aircall number displaying as spam for guidance that reduces flagging risk.
Setting up Number Reputation
To get started, you need to register your business. Setup has three steps: business details, numbers to monitor, and review. You can save your progress as a draft at any point.
Step 1: Business details
Go to Aircall Dashboard → Numbers → Number Reputation and click Register your business. Fill in:
- Country: the country where your business is registered.
- Business info: legal business name, DBA (optional), industry, number of employees, website, and DUNS number (optional; a 9-digit Dun & Bradstreet identifier that helps speed up verification).
- Business address: street address (optional), city, state, and ZIP code (optional).
- Business verification: upload your company registration proof (certificate of incorporation, company registry extract, or equivalent; PDF, JPG, or PNG up to 10 MB), then check the box authorizing Aircall to register your company and its telephone numbers with Aircall's number reputation provider.
- Authorized contact: first name, last name, job title, email address, and phone number.
Click Save & Next.
Step 2: Numbers to monitor
Select which numbers you want to actively monitor. You can add or remove numbers at any time after setup. Only numbers from countries covered by this service can be enrolled; see "Before you begin" above.
Click Save & Next.
Step 3: Review and submit
Review your submission: company details summary, company registration proof, authorization confirmation, and the list of numbers to monitor. Click Submit for approval.
Note: Your submission goes through an internal Aircall review before being passed to our analytics provider. Once approved, monitoring starts and your numbers show their first reputation status within 24 hours of enrollment.
Number Reputation list view
Once set up, you land on the Number Reputation list view under Aircall Dashboard → Numbers → Number Reputation.
The summary at the top shows Numbers monitored (out of your total Aircall numbers), Flagged count, and At risk count, with a health bar (red for flagged, orange for at risk, green for healthy).
Click See Numbers performance report to open the full report and see more details. For more information about the report, please see our article Analytics: Number performance report.
The list shows each monitored number with its country, name, phone number, and current status. You can filter and search using:
- Status: Healthy, Risk, or Spam.
- Country: filter by country.
- Search: by number name or phone number.
- Added at: sort by enrollment date.
Understanding reputation status
Status is checked once per day. Click any number to open its side panel, which shows the last checked date and time along with contextual recommendations.
| Status | What it means | Side panel content |
|---|---|---|
| Healthy | Not flagged on any monitored network at the last check. | Last checked date and time, plus a link to more calling best practices. |
| Risk: Low / Risk: Medium | Currently at risk if calling behavior doesn't improve. | Preventive actions list, last checked date and time, plus a link to more calling best practices. |
| Spam: [category] | Actively labeled as spam on one or more monitored networks (for example, Spam: Telemarketer or Spam: Scam). Recipients may see a warning or calls may be blocked. | Best practices list, last checked date and time, a link to more calling best practices, and a Request remediation button. |
The best-practices link on every status opens Aircall number displaying as spam.
Managing your registration
Go to Aircall Dashboard → Numbers → Number Reputation → Company details to view your registered business profile.
- Update business information: business details can't be self-edited after submission. Use the Contact support link on the Company details page.
- Add or remove numbers: add numbers from the setup flow at any time; remove individual numbers from the list whenever you like.
Important: Unregistering removes your company registration and stops monitoring for all enrolled numbers. Click Unregister from Number Reputation at the bottom of the Company details page to do this.
Tracking performance
You can access a detailed Number performance report in two ways:
- Directly from the Number Reputation page, click See Number performance report in the top right corner.
- Navigating to Analytics > Number performance in the Aircall Dashboard.
It shows pick-up rates and other calling indicators alongside Branded Caller ID performance data, so you can track both indicators along with overall calling performance.
For more information about the report, please see Analytics: Numbers performance report.
Requesting spam flag removal (optional)
When a number shows a Spam status, its side panel includes a Request remediation button. This opens the analytics provider's remediation form directly. The request is handled outside of Aircall and outside of our control.
Important: Spam flag removal is not guaranteed and depends entirely on the provider's decision. If you submit a request and the status hasn't changed after a few days, contact Aircall Support for assistance.
