The Number performance report shows Admins the health and performance of their Aircall numbers, so you can see the answer-rate lift Branded Caller ID delivers, all in one place. At launch, this covers Branded Caller ID performance. Number reputation and local presence data will be added to this report over time.

Note: This report is available to Admins only. Supervisors and Agents don't see it in the Analytics navigation. Every action this report surfaces, like enrolling a number in Branded Caller ID, is Admin-scoped, which is why access is restricted.

Before you begin

  • You need an Admin role. The report isn't visible to Supervisors or Agents.
  • Branded Caller ID must be set up and at least one number registered. See Branded Caller ID: show your business name on outbound calls (US) if you haven't done this yet.
  • At launch, Branded Caller ID data covers US numbers only. Support for UK, Germany, Canada, Spain, France, and Australia is planned for later this year.
Note: Having Branded Caller ID available on your account isn't enough on its own. Each number needs to be individually registered before it appears in this report.

Getting there

Go to Analytics and open the Number performance report. You can export the report at any time using the Export button at the top of the page.

What you'll see

Branded calling performance

Branded calling performance

Three KPI cards show figures for your selected period:

  • Answer rate, branded numbers: the percentage of outbound calls from your branded numbers that connect.
  • Branded vs. non-branded delta: how much higher your branded numbers' answer rate is compared to the previous period.
  • Branded calls made: how many outbound calls were placed from branded numbers, along with how many of your eligible numbers are currently enrolled.

Alongside the KPI cards, the Answer rate over time chart compares your branded numbers' answer rate against your non-branded numbers over the selected period. This is the clearest way to see the before-and-after impact of enrolling a number in Branded Caller ID.

Note: If a number was enrolled partway through your selected period, the chart reflects that, showing its performance before and after enrollment, rather than one status for the whole period.

Your numbers' health

Below the chart, the Branded calling card gives you a quick count of your enrolled numbers. The table beneath lists each number individually, with its line, branded status, and answer rate.

Note: The table may show additional columns as number reputation and other capabilities are added later this year. These won't be populated until those features are live.

If you don't see any data

If none of your numbers are enrolled in Branded Caller ID yet, you'll see a promo screen instead of data.

Click Set up branded calling to get started, or follow "Branded Caller ID: show your business name on outbound calls (US)" for the full setup process.

Other things to check:

  • A number you just registered isn't showing yet: registration status updates once per day. Allow up to 24 hours before a newly registered number appears.
  • A number is missing from the report entirely: check that it's registered for Branded Caller ID, and that it's a US number. Other markets aren't supported yet.

What's coming next

  • More markets for Branded Caller ID.
  • Number reputation: monitoring for spam labels (Clean, At risk, or Flagged for spam) across your numbers, covering US, UK, Germany, Canada, Spain, France, and Australia, planned for later this year.
  • Local presence: performance data for local presence, added to this report at a later date.

FAQs

Why can't I find the Number Performance Report?

This report is Admin-only. If you're a Supervisor or Agent, you can't access it in the Analytics navigation. This is expected, not a bug.

My colleague can see it and I can't. Why?

Most likely a role difference. Check that you have the Admin role.

We have Branded Caller ID, so why is the report empty?

Having the feature on your account isn't the same as having a number registered. Each number needs to be individually enrolled before it contributes data to this report. See "Branded Caller ID: show your business name on outbound calls (US)."

We registered our numbers and still see nothing. What's wrong?

Check the number's country. At launch, Branded Caller ID data only covers US numbers. Support for other markets is coming later this year.

A number shows branding for only part of the period I selected. Is that a bug?

No, that's expected. If a number was enrolled or removed from Branded Caller ID partway through the period, the report reflects that change rather than showing one status for the whole period.
