The Aircall Startup Program gives eligible early-stage companies deep, multi-year discounts on Aircall's Pro plan, including free AI Voice Agent (AIVA) minutes in your first year. Discounts step down over three years as your business grows.

Pricing and what's included
How much does the Aircall Startup Program cost?
The program runs on a 3-year step-down. All pricing is for the Aircall Pro plan.
Note: For exact current pricing for your team size and billing preference (monthly or annual), see aircall.io/startups or ask your Aircall contact. Pricing follows a 3-year step-down: heavily discounted in Year 1, partially discounted in Year 2, full list price from Year 3 onward.
Note: Minimum seats: 3, for all three years. Please see How much does it cost to add more users? below for how additional seats are handled.
Does the Startup Program discount apply to any Aircall plan?
The Aircall Pro plan only. If you want the Essential plan instead, standard Essential pricing applies and you won't be enrolled in the Startup Program.
How much does it cost to add more users?
The discount applies to every additional seat on your account for that year, not just your first three. AIVA minutes are shared across the account and don't change with seat count. See aircall.io/startups for exact per-seat pricing at your current team size.
What is AIVA?
AIVA is Aircall's AI Voice Agent, it handles inbound calls, automates follow-ups, and coaches your reps in real time. You get 500 AIVA minutes per month at no charge during Year 1. Minutes are use-it-or-lose-it each month and don't roll over. The cost of AIVA minutes follows the same step-down as the rest of your plan after Year 1, see aircall.io/startups for current pricing.
What is not included in the Startup Program?
The following add-ons aren't eligible for the Startup discount and are charged at list price if added:
| AI messaging Agents | AI Messaging Agents can be added but with no discount, and will be charged at list price. |
|---|---|
| AI Assist Pro | AI Assist Pro can be added but with no discount, and will be charged at list price. |
| Analytics+ | Analytics+ can be added but with no discount, and will be charged at list price. |
| WhatsApp can be added but with no discount, and will be charged at list price. | |
| Aircall for Salesforce Voice | Aircall for Salesforce Voice can be added but with no discount, and will be charged at list price. |
Eligibility
Am I eligible for the Aircall Startup Program?
You need all of the following to be true at the time you apply:
- Fewer than 25 full-time employees
- Under Series A funding stage
- Total funding raised to date under $10 million
- Not a current or former Aircall customer
- Applying as an independent legal entity, subsidiaries of larger companies are not eligible
- Affiliated with an approved venture partner or have raised verifiable venture funding
Do freelancers or contractors count toward the employee cap?
No. We count only full-time employees on payroll. Contractors, part-time staff, and advisors don't count toward the 25-person cap.
Can I apply if I've raised close to $10 million?
Yes, if your total funding raised is under $10M at the time you apply. Funding you raise after joining doesn't affect your current year's discount. See "What happens if I grow past the eligibility thresholds during the program?" below.
Can a subsidiary of a larger company apply?
No. The program is for independent, early-stage companies. Subsidiaries or business units of a parent company with more than 25 employees are not eligible.
Can I reapply if I was previously an Aircall customer?
No. The program is for new customers only. If you've previously held an Aircall contract, even if you've since churned, you can't re-enter through the Startup Program. Reach out to your Aircall contact about standard re-activation pricing instead.
What if I have just over 25 employees?
The program was built to support startups under 25 employees, but apply anyway. Our team will look at your application, vet it, and respond back to you.
Can I apply while I'm on a free Aircall trial?
Likely yes, a free trial isn't a paid subscription, so you're not yet an existing customer. Mention your trial when you apply and we'll confirm as part of verification.
Can multiple founders from the same company submit separate applications?
Each legal entity can submit one application. Multiple applications from the same entity, or from entities with substantially the same ownership and business, will be declined.
What happens if I'm not eligible?
You can still use Aircall at standard pricing, see our plans page or contact our Customer Success team. If your situation changes later (for example, you drop below 25 employees or your funding stage resets), you're welcome to apply again, as long as you aren't already a paying customer. For more information, please see Aircall plans: pricing and flexibility.
How the discounts works
Can I combine this discount with another Aircall offer?
No. The Startup Program discount can't be stacked with any other Aircall promotion, trial credit, or partner discount.
Will my price increase without warning?
No. The full 3-year price path is shown above and confirmed when you sign up. Your account manager will reach out ahead of each renewal with your new rate clearly stated. There's nothing beyond this step-down schedule, no hidden fees.
Is the Year 2 discount based on today's list price or my renewal-time price?
It's calculated against the Aircall list price in effect at the start of that program year. If list prices go up between Year 1 and Year 2, your Year 2 price is 30% off the new list price, not the price you signed up at.
Do I still pay full price in Year 3 if I'm still a small team?
Yes. Year 3 is full list price regardless of company size or funding status at that point. The step-down is fixed at sign-up and doesn't change based on your growth, or lack of it.
Can I negotiate my Year 2 or Year 3 rate?
Startup Program rates are fixed, but we can make an exception in rare cases, talk to your account manager. If you've grown significantly and think you'd qualify for a custom enterprise arrangement instead, that would be a separate, standard commercial conversation with them.
What happens if I grow past the eligibility thresholds during the program?
If you grow to more than 25 employees or raise more funding, for example a Series B, your current program year's discount continues untouched through the end of that year. It just won't renew into the next program year, you'll move to standard pricing at your next anniversary, and we'll notify you ahead of that switch.
Does the discount apply to users I add later?
Yes. The discount percentage applies to every user on your account for as long as that program year runs. If you add users partway through Year 2, for example, they're billed at the Year 2 rate for the remainder of that year.
Can I reduce my seat count below 3 to save money?
No. Three users is the minimum required to join and stay in the program, it's billed as a fixed base regardless of how many seats you're actively using.
Applying to the program
Where do I apply and what information do I need?
Apply at aircall.io/startups, it takes about 3 minutes. You'll provide your company name, funding stage, total funding raised, employee count, and a short description of what you do. You can also apply through a partner, HubSpot FounderStack, an Aircall investor partner, GetProven, or the AWS Startup Marketplace, using the same form.
How long does verification take?
We verify applications within 48 hours on business days, using the funding and investor information you provide alongside public sources like Crunchbase or PitchBook. You'll get an email with either an approval and your sign-up link, or a clear reason if we can't approve it.
What happens if you can't verify my eligibility automatically?
We may follow up asking for one of: a recent funding announcement or press mention, a note from your investor confirming your round, or your company registration (for example Companies House or a local equivalent). We'll only ask for what's needed to confirm eligibility.
How long do I have to accept my offer once approved?
What happens if my application is rejected?
You can reapply after 90 days if your circumstances change. We don't give detailed feedback on individual decisions, but the most common reason is not meeting one of the eligibility criteria above. If you think your application was rejected in error, email startups@aircall.io within 14 days of the decision.
Billing and renewal
What's the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Both get the same discount structure. Monthly billing means you pay month to month at the monthly rate shown above. Annual billing means you pay for the year upfront at a lower effective monthly rate. Choose whichever fits your cash flow better, you're not locked into one for the life of the program.
Does my plan auto-renew at the new rate each year?
Auto-renewal is switched off for Startup Program accounts. Your account manager will reach out ahead of your anniversary date to walk you through your new rate and get your next program year activated, there's no silent price change and no action needed on your end beyond confirming with them.
Can I cancel during the program?
Cancellation terms follow the standard Aircall Master Subscription Agreement you sign at enrollment. Your account manager can walk you through the specifics for your billing option (monthly vs. annual) if you're considering this.
Other things to know
Am I locked into a contract?
Your Startup Program terms are part of your Aircall subscription agreement. Within that, monthly billing gives you more flexibility to adjust; annual billing is a yearly commitment paid upfront. Ask your account manager if you're unsure which you signed up for.
What happens when the 3 years end?
You continue on standard Aircall pricing at whatever plan fits your team at that point, Pro, Essential, or a custom enterprise arrangement if you've scaled significantly. There's no cliff or forced downgrade, you simply move to list pricing on the plan that makes sense for your size.
Who do I contact with other questions?
Email startups@aircall.io and we'll get back to you.
