What is not included
- AI Assist and AI Assist Pro: Not included in the base plan.

Who the plan is for
The Starter AI Plan is designed for two types of customers.
Small teams that need a business phone line
Very small businesses, solo founders, or early-stage companies that need a dedicated phone number and want AI to handle routine calls. This plan removes the three-user minimum that applies to the Essentials and Professional plans.
Businesses that need AI Agents without switching phone systems or navigating complex integrations
Companies with an existing telephony setup that want to add AI call handling on top of it, without switching platforms or connecting multiple back end platforms to get the agents to work. Our Starter AI Plan is designed to get businesses up and running in days, not weeks. Calls can be forwarded from any existing system to an Aircall number (or vice versa), where an AI Voice Agent handles them.
Note: Customers with an existing phone system (such as RingCentral, Vonage, or a basic VoIP setup) can forward calls to their Aircall number. No platform switch required.
Adding users and numbers
The plan includes 1 user and 1 phone number. Additional users and numbers can be added from the Aircall Dashboard.
Additional users are billed at Essentials plan rates. Additional numbers are billed at a flat rate regardless of billing frequency.

AI Voice Agent minutes and bundles
The base plan includes a one-time 100-minute trial allowance, 50 free minutes per month on an ongoing basis, and 250 included minutes per month. If your usage consistently exceeds the included minutes, AIVA minute bundles are available to reduce the per-minute rate.

Important: AIVA minute bundles must be purchased through the sales team at launch and require an annual commitment. Bundles replace the 250 included base minutes; they are not added on top of them.
Escalating calls to a human
AI Voice Agents escalate calls to a human agent when needed, passing full context at handoff. For accounts with only one Aircall number, external call forwarding can be configured to route escalated calls to a mobile or external number.
