Each month, Aircall issues an invoice that includes charges for your AI Voice Agent usage. These charges are calculated based on your contract terms and follow a usage-based billing model. This article explains how AI Voice Agent interactions are billed, how tiered pricing and minute bundles work, how to review and interpret your usage, and how to optimize consumption to better manage costs.
Reviewing your AI Voice Agent usage
You can monitor and review your AI Voice Agent activity using the usage report available in the Billing tab of your Aircall dashboard.
Important: Only users with Owner permissions can access the Billing section. Usage reports are available for 90 days. If you need data older than this period, please contact Aircall support.
Usage reports are the single source of truth for billing purposes.
Steps to access your usage report
- Go to Billing tab > Invoices in your Aircall Dashboard.
- Download the usage report for the relevant billing period.
- Apply these filters to locate and interpret your Voice AI Agent data accurately:
- Filter the “Type” column: to display only rows related to the Voice AI Agent (voice_ai_call)
- Use the “Description” column: to identify which tier each entry belongs to. The tier names correspond to those that appear on your invoice. Example: AI Voice Agent - Tier 1.
- Use the “Billed Duration In Sec” column: to separate free from billable calls. Calls shorter than 15 seconds are not billable.

Note: Invoices always cover the previous month usage. For example, an invoice issued on May 14, 2025, includes calls made between April 14 and May 13, 2025.
A downloadable report is also available under Analytics > Overview > AI Voice Agent. This section is intended for monitoring and analytical purposes only and should not be used to review billing or invoiced usage.
Understanding AI Voice Agent pricing
Note: All screenshots and price examples in this article are for illustration purposes only and may not reflect actual rates.
1. AI Voice Agent - Usage
AI Voice Agent billing is based on precise seconds usage and applies minimum duration thresholds.
- Precise minute billing: Calls are billed to the exact decimal minute (e.g., 66 seconds = 1.10 minutes).
- Minimum duration threshold: Calls shorter than 15 seconds are not billable.

AI Voice Agent participation: Billing for AI Voice Agent usage is separate from Telephony costs:
- AI Voice Agent Fee: Only applies when the agent actively participates in a call.
- Telco Costs: Standard rates apply separately, though local inbound calls are included at no extra cost via Aircall.*

Important: Aircall’s pricing structure and calculation logic may change over time as we continue to improve our offerings. As we introduce more AI-powered capabilities, we regularly update our products and pricing to remain competitive and deliver additional value to our customers.
If your invoice does not align with the information in this article, please contact our Customer Support team. Our team can help clarify your invoicing, as older invoices may follow previous billing logic.
2. Pricing structure: understanding tiers
The AI Voice Agent applies tiered pricing that automatically reduces your per-minute rate based on your consumption. The more you use the feature, the lower the cost per minute.

• The 50-minute Free Tier applies once per month.

If you have purchased an AI Voice Agent minutes bundle, a credit will appear on your invoice to offset the cost of the minutes included in your plan. See the next section for details.
3. AI Voice Agent minutes bundles
The AI Voice Agent Minutes Bundle helps you lower your monthly invoice by prepaying for a block of discounted minutes that are automatically applied to your highest-priced usage tiers.
Bundle types
- Standard bundles: 500, 2,500, or 5,000 minutes.
- Custom bundles: Available starting at 10,000 minutes for higher usage needs.

How bundles appear on your invoice
Your invoice includes:
- Usage charges calculated at standard tiered rates, including the Free Tier.
- A bundle credit applied to offset prepaid minutes.
Tip: If the bundle credit shown on your invoice is lower than the amount you paid for the bundle, your total usage did not exceed your prepaid minutes.
Example: You prepay for a 2,500-minute bundle. During the month, you use 985 minutes. Since your usage is fully covered, the system applies a credit equal to those 985 minutes.
Identifying your AI Voice Agent bundle rates
You can confirm the rates applied to your minutes bundle using one of the following methods.
Option A: Check your quote
In your quote, look under Special Features > AI Voice Agent Minutes Bundle. The Price column shows your agreed rate.
Option B: Review a previous invoice
- Go to Billing > Invoices in your Aircall Dashboard.
- Download the PDF invoice for the desired period.
- Locate the AI Voice Agent Minutes Bundle line under Users and numbers.
- Review the Monthly Unit Price column to confirm the applied rate.
Option C: Contact our Customer Success team
For questions about your bundle rates or terms, contact our Customer Success team directly.
Tip: If you negotiated custom discounted rates and the invoice does not reflect them, our Customer Success team is the best point of contact for investigation.
Invoice analysis with an AI Voice Agent minutes bundle
Step 1: Prepay discounted minutes
In this example, you purchase a bundle of 2,500 minutes at $0.29 per minute, for a total of $725.
Note: The $0.29 rate is used for illustration only. Refer to your quote or invoice to confirm your actual bundle rate.
This prepaid amount is billed in advance and appears at the top of your invoice.
Important: If you recently upgraded your bundle, your invoice may show prepayment for the new bundle while the usage credit still reflects the previous bundle.
Usage credits are applied one billing cycle in arrears.
Example:
- Previous bundle: 500 minutes
- New bundle: 2,500 minutes
Current invoice:
- Prepayment for 2,500 minutes
- Usage credit for 500 minutes from the previous cycle

Step 3: Bundle coverage for highest-priced tiers
Let’s continue with the example, you decided to subscribe to an AI Voice Agent bundle of 2,500 prepaid minutes, therefore:
Your 2,500 prepaid minutes are automatically used for the highest-priced tiers:
- 2,500 minutes at $0.49
- Value of those minutes at standard pricing: $1,225.00.
Step 4: Credit applied on the invoice
Your invoice shows a line such as:
- AI Voice Agent Minutes Bundle credit: -$1,225.00
- This credit offsets the usage already covered by your prepaid minutes.
Final result
- You paid $725.00 instead of $1,225.00 for those minutes.
- Total savings: $500.00
- Any remaining usage beyond the bundle is billed at standard rates.
