When making outbound calls, in most cases you can choose the number from which those calls are made.

It can be, for example, your default number, or also you can select any of your other numbers (if you are assigned to more than one).

But there is one specific scenario in which you will not be able to select the number: when making outbound calls by clicking on an existent past call in your call history.

So, if:

  • You return a missed call directly from the missed call itself
  • You make an outbound call by clicking on a previous call sowing in your call history (inbound or outbound, does not matter)

Those outbound calls will always be made from the number that was originally involved in the original call, and it will not be possible to choose a different one, overriding your default number if this was a different one.

For example: if you miss a call on number A, and you return that missed call by clicking on it, that outbound call will be made from number A, even if your default number is B.
