Ask AI Assist is a conversational chat interface built into the Aircall dashboard. It lets supervisors and admins ask plain-language questions about their call data, transcripts, and team performance and get immediate answers, without building reports or running manual searches.

Who can use Ask AI Assist

Ask AI Assist is available to supervisors and admins only. Agents do not have access.

During the beta, access is available to users at companies on one of the following plans:

  • Aircall Pro (no add-on required)
  • AI Assist add-on
  • AI Assist Pro add-on

Each user must be assigned the appropriate license to access the feature.

Note: Ask AI Assist is in beta and rolling out gradually. It may not yet appear in your dashboard. If you need immediate access, contact your account manager. Access is currently free for eligible users during the beta period, but this may change during or after the beta.

How to access Ask AI Assist

Steps:

  1. Log in to your Aircall Dashboard.
  2. In the left navigation, click AI Assist or AI Assist Pro.
  3. Click Ask AI Assist (Beta).
  4. Type your question in the chat input and press Enter.
  5. Review the response. Type a follow-up in the same thread to dig deeper.
  6. Click any linked call or record in the response to open it directly.

What you can ask

Ask AI Assist draws from your call data, transcripts, AI summaries, and analytics. You can ask questions such as:

  • "What were the top reasons customers called this week?"
  • "Which agents had the lowest scores this month?"

You can ask follow-up questions within the same session to explore results further. The assistant also surfaces relevant Aircall Help Center answers alongside your own data.

Important considerations

Important: Responses are generated by AI and may occasionally contain errors. Always verify critical information against source records before acting on it.
  • Beta limitations: Some query types may not yet be supported. The assistant will tell you when a capability is unavailable.
  • Chat history: Previous conversations are not saved. Each session starts fresh. Chat history is planned for a future update.
  • Permissions: The assistant only surfaces data you already have permission to access in Aircall. It does not bypass existing access controls.

Who can use Ask AI Assist?

Does Ask AI Assist have access to all of my calls?

The assistant can only access data you are already permitted to see in Aircall. Your existing access controls apply and the assistant does not grant additional data access.

Is the beta available to all Aircall accounts?

Not yet. During the beta, access is limited to companies on Aircall Pro or with an AI Assist or AI Assist Pro add-on. Contact your account manager if you do not see it in your dashboard.

Can the assistant take actions, like creating tags or updating settings?

Action capabilities are planned for future releases. During the beta, the assistant is focused on answering questions and surfacing information.

Can multiple users on my team use Ask AI Assist?

Yes. Each supervisor or admin with an eligible license can use it independently.
