Company Context allows you to provide key information about your business so that AI Assist features generate more accurate and relevant outputs.
Overview
Without company-specific context, AI features rely on generic language. For example, a call summary might refer to “the premium plan” instead of your actual product name. Company Context solves this by giving AI the information it needs to produce precise, business-specific outputs.

Note: Any user with an AI Assist license benefits from improved AI outputs once Company Context is configured. Only Admins and Owners can edit the settings.
What you can configure
Company Context includes two fields:
Company Description
Describe what your company does, including its mission and key activities. This helps AI correctly identify your business and generate more relevant insights.
- Maximum: 500 characters
- Example: "Aircall is a cloud-based phone system for business. It provides call center software, VoIP phone systems, and AI-powered call analytics for sales and support teams."
Products and Services
Describe the products and services your company offers. More detail improves AI understanding.
- Maximum: 500 characters
- Example: "AI Assist Pro: Premium AI features including live assist, real-time playbooks, and automatic call scoring. AI Assist Standard: Basic AI features including call summaries and transcription."
You can also enable or disable Company Context using the toggle at the top of the page. When disabled, AI features will not use your company context.
Set up Company Context
Option 1: Auto-generate from your website (recommended)
- Go to Aircall Dashboard > AI Assist > Company Context
- Click Auto-generate with AI at the top of the page
- In the dialog, select Auto-generate with AI
- Enter your company website URL
- Click Generate
- If prompted, confirm that you want to overwrite existing content by clicking Continue
- Wait while AI analyzes your website, this can take up to one minute
- Review and edit the generated content
- Ensure the Company Context toggle is enabled
Option 2: Enter information manually
- Go to Aircall Dashboard > AI Assist > Company Context
- Click Auto-generate with AI at the top of the page
- Then select Enter manually, or close the dialog
- Enter or edit your Company Description
- Enter or edit your Products and Services
- Ensure the Company Context toggle is enabled
How Company Context improves AI features
Once configured, Company Context is automatically applied to:
- Call Summaries: Use your actual product names instead of generic terms
- Custom Summaries: Extract insights with awareness of your business
- Playbooks: Generate results using your terminology
- Call Scoring (coming soon): Evaluate calls with your business context
- Contact Insights (coming soon): Build richer contact profiles

Important considerations
Important: Company Context applies to new calls only. Existing summaries, scores, and insights are not regenerated.
- AI references your products only when they are discussed during a call
- Keep your descriptions up to date to maintain accuracy
- You can disable Company Context at any time using the toggle
- Disabling does not delete your saved information

Do I need AI Assist Pro for Company Context?
No. Company Context is available with both AI Assist Standard and AI Assist Pro licenses.
Will Company Context update existing call summaries and scores?

Can I auto-generate and then edit the results?

What happens if I disable the Company Context toggle?
