Aircall's Call Diagnostics feature helps you test your network and audio setup on mobile so you can ensure high quality calls and address issues before they occur.

What is Call Diagnostics?

Call Diagnostics is a tool in the Aircall Workspace mobile app that allows you to:

  • Check your network conditions and expected call quality
  • Receive practical recommendations to improve future calls
  • Troubleshoot audio issues such as delays, choppy sound, or weak signal

The test takes only a few seconds and includes a short voice recording to help identify any issues.

How to run Call Diagnostics

Tip: Run diagnostics in the location where you normally take calls to get the most relevant results.

You can start a Call Diagnostics test in two ways.

Option 1: From the Settings menu

Steps:

  1. Click on your profile image.
  2. Go to Preferences > Quality > Call diagnostics.
  3. Tap Start Diagnostics.

Option 2: After a call with connection issues

If your recent call had network related problems, you will see a prompt labelled Help us improve your next call. Tap Run Diagnostics to start the test, or tap Not now if you prefer to skip it.

Note: If you choose Not now when prompted after a call, you can skip diagnostics. If you tap Not now three times in a day, you will not be asked again until the next day.

What happens during the call diagnostics

  • You will be asked to speak briefly into your phone.
  • The app records and analyzes your voice and connection quality.
  • For the most accurate results, run the test in the environment where you usually take calls.
