Switching from Aircall Phone to Aircall Workspace is quick and effortless:
- Use your same Aircall credentials: No new login or setup required.
- Start right away: Your calls, messages, and integrations automatically carry over, so there’s no downtime.
Tip: Check with your Admin before switching to confirm whether your team has a planned switch date or if you can switch now.
How to switch to Aircall Workspace
Switching takes just minutes. Follow these steps:
1. Access Aircall Workspace
Use the table below to see how to access Aircall Workspace based on how you currently use Aircall:

| CTI (inside another tool like Salesforce) | Click the prompt at the top of your Aircall CTI to switch. Once switched, you cannot return to the legacy experience. |
| Mobile app (iOS or Android) | The mobile app already includes the Aircall Workspace interface. Just ensure you’re on the latest version. |
2. Log in with your existing credentials
Use the same Aircall account you already have. Your contacts, call history, and messages will appear automatically in Aircall Workspace.
3. Get familiar with Aircall Workspace

- Unified inbox: View calls, voicemails, SMS, and WhatsApp all in one place, or switch between Calls and Messages views.
- Quick actions: Easily transfer calls, add notes, and apply tags during calls.

4. Start your first conversation
Click the green + icon on the left menu to start a new conversation. You’re now ready to manage all your customer interactions in Aircall Workspace.
Note: Once you’ve successfully switched, uninstall the legacy Aircall Phone app from your device to ensure you only use Aircall Workspace going forward.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need new login credentials?
No. You’ll log in with your existing Aircall account.
Can I go back to the old Aircall Phone app?
You can still access it for now, but we recommend staying on Aircall Workspace. All new features are available exclusively in Aircall Workspace, and the old app will retire in 2026.
Will my call history and contacts carry over?
Yes. All your call history, messages, contacts, and integrations transfer automatically.
My team hasn’t switched yet. What should I do?
If your Admin is coordinating the transition, follow their instructions. If not, you can switch using this guide.
Will I be notified before Aircall Phone is retired?
Yes. Aircall will notify you in advance through in-product updates, emails, and the Help Center.
