You can forward inbound calls from one Aircall number to another Aircall number using call flow routing. This is done by configuring the call distribution for the number where the call is first received.

This article explains how to forward calls using the Ring to widget in the Flow editor.

Forward calls using call flow routing

To forward a call to another Aircall number, you must edit the call distribution of the source number.

Steps:

  1. Go to Aircall Dashboard > Numbers.
  2. Select the number you want to edit.
  3. Open the Call distribution tab.
  4. Click Edit in the top right corner to open the Flow editor.
  5. Hover over the location in the flow where you want to forward the call.
  6. Select the Ring to widget from the menu.
  7. In the widget settings on the right side of the screen, add the destination Aircall number in the Ring to field.
    • Enter the number with the country code.
    • Do not include spaces or special characters.
  8. Click Publish in the top right corner of the Flow editor to save your changes.
Important: We do not recommend forwarding calls from a number to itself, as this can create call loops.

Additional considerations

  • Call forwarding between Aircall numbers is supported only through call flow routing.
  • If your number is not yet using a call flow, you will need to upgrade it to use this routing method.

This approach ensures calls are routed correctly between Aircall numbers while maintaining full visibility and control within your call flows.
