Aircall provides clear audio messages when an outbound call fails. These messages help agents understand why a call did not connect so they can take the appropriate next steps.

When the dialed number does not exist

If the number is incorrect or not in service, agents will hear:
"The number you have dialed does not exist."

When the number is invalid or has been blocked

If the number contains formatting errors or has been restricted, the message will state:
"The phone number you have dialed is not valid or has been blocked."

When the number is busy or otherwise unreachable

If the call cannot connect because the line is busy or the number is temporarily unreachable, agents will hear:
"The number you have dialed is currently unreachable. Please try again later."

In some cases, agents may also hear a standard busy signal, which indicates that the line is engaged.
