I cannot see caller numbers on the Aircall Workspace iOs App

Symptom

When receiving a call through the Aircall Workspace iOS app, the phone screen only displays the contact’s name, not their phone number.

Cause

This behavior is due to how iOS handles incoming calls. If the caller’s number is saved as a contact in your iPhone, iOS will always display the contact name instead of the number. This applies whether your phone is locked or unlocked.

Solution

If you need to see the phone number during the call, you can view it directly inside the Aircall Workspace mobile app after answering.

Steps:

1. When the call connects, switch from the standard iPhone call view to the Aircall Workspace mobile app.

2. Inside the Aircall Workspace mobile app, you’ll see both the contact name and phone number, along with your Aircall line information.
