This article explains why the Aircall Browser Extension may display a compatibility message and what to do when it appears.

Symptom

When using the Aircall Browser Extension, the following message is shown:

“Aircall extension is not compatible with this domain.”

Cause

This message appears when you are browsing Aircall-owned websites, such as:

  • dashboard.aircall.io
  • phone.aircall.io
  • support.aircall.io

The Aircall Browser Extension is intentionally disabled on Aircall domains to prevent conflicts, malfunctions, or overlapping behavior within the Aircall product itself.

Solution

This behavior is expected and does not indicate an issue with the extension.

Use the Aircall Browser Extension on external websites where you want to detect phone numbers and initiate quick outbound calls.

Note: The extension is designed for third-party websites, not for use within the Aircall application or Help Center.
