You can manually adjust Google Chrome permissions to improve how Aircall applications and integrations function. The steps below explain how to access and configure these settings to ensure an optimal experience.

Important: Chrome applies permission settings at the domain level. This means that any permission you configure for a domain such as .aircall.io or .google.com will apply across all pages within that domain.

Accessing permission settings

To manage permissions for a specific Aircall page, for example the Aircall Dashboard:

Steps:

  1. Open the Aircall Dashboard in Google Chrome.
  2. Select the lock icon next to the browser address bar.
  3. Choose Site settings.
  4. Review the list of permissions and adjust them as needed.

If you are using a CTI integration with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zendesk, permissions must be configured from the domain of the CRM itself. For the CTI to work as expected, allow the following permissions:

These permissions enable you to:

Issues these settings can help resolve

Correct Chrome permissions can resolve several issues related to the Aircall Dashboard, Web app, or CTI. Ensuring permissions are properly configured may help with:

  • Live Monitoring not showing new calls or user status changes
  • Calls not ringing in the Web app or CTI
  • Microphone or headset not being detected
  • Missing notifications for incoming calls in the Web app or CTI
  • Not being redirected when selecting insight card links
