Forwarding Calls (Smartflows Routing)
To forward a call to another Aircall number, you will need to edit the call distribution for the number where you would like to initiate the forward.
- In the Aircall Dashboard, select the number you would like to edit from Numbers
- Under the Call Distribution tab, select the Edit button on the top-right corner to open the Smartflow Editor
- In the Smartflow Editor, hover over and select the location where you would like to insert the forward
- Select the Ring to widget in the pop-up menu. The settings for the Ring to widget will appear on the right side of the page
- In the Settings, add the number you would like to forward calls to in the Ring to field. Please ensure the number is entered with a country code, excluding spaces and other characters
- Select the Publish button on the top-right corner of the Smartflow Editor to save your changes
Please note that we do not recommend forwarding calls from a number to itself.
Forwarding Calls (Legacy Routing)
Forwarding Calls from an IVR Number to Another Aircall Number
- In the Aircall Dashboard, select the number you would like to edit from Numbers
- Under the Call Distribution tab, select Add an option in the Open hours branch. A pop-up window will appear
- In the Forward to Number pop-up, select the Key you would like callers to press and select the Option type "Forward to internal number" in the dropdown
- Next, in the Add Number section, search for and select the number you would like to forward calls to
- Select Confirm to save your changes
Forwarding Calls from a Classic Number to Another Aircall Number
This is not possible at the moment. We recommend upgrading your number to Smartflows routing so you can use the Smartflows Routing method listed above.
Forward to External
It's not possible to forward a call from one Aircall number to another using the Forward to External option enabled on a user. For more information on our Forward to External feature, please see: Using Aircall's Forward to External Number Feature
