Symptom
When attempting to upload a list to the Power Dialer in Aircall, the list is not accepted, and no action occurs.
Cause
This issue can be caused by several factors, including:
- The CSV file exceeds the size limit of 1MB or contains more than 1000 contacts.
- The phone numbers in the CSV file are not in the E.164 format.
- The first column of the CSV does not have a title.
- The CSV file is not UTF-8 encoded.
Solution
To resolve this issue, please ensure the following steps are taken:
- Check that your CSV file size is less than 1MB and contains 1000 contacts or fewer, including the header row.
- Verify that all phone numbers are in the E.164 format (e.g., +1234567890).
- Ensure the first column containing the phone numbers has a title.
- If using Excel, export the CSV file in UTF-8 encoded format. Open the Excel file, select File Save As CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited) (*.csv).
- When using Google Sheets, after preparing your data, select File Download Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet).
- Import the CSV file to the Power Dialer by navigating to the Power Dialer menu in the Aircall app, clicking Create list, and dragging and dropping or selecting the CSV file from your computer.
