To access your audio settings in Aircall Workspace, click on your name in the bottom left corner, then click Settings, and make sure you are on the Audio settings page.
Use the Audio Settings page to customize your audio experience, including notifications, microphone, and speaker settings.
Available Account Settings
Sound Notifications
- Select Ringtone: Choose your preferred ringtone for incoming audio notifications
- Ring Everywhere: Enable this option to ring notifications on both your headset and computer
Input (Microphone) Settings
Basic Setup
- Select Device: Choose the microphone you want to use from the dropdown menu
- Test Microphone: Click "Test Microphone" to verify sound levels
- Automatic Levels: Toggle this setting to allow automatic adjustment of microphone volume for optimal clarity
- Advanced Sound Processing: Enable this option to enhance audio quality and reduce background noise
- Remote Controls: Enable if using a compatible headset to control calls (pick up, hang up, or mute) directly from your headset. ⚠️ Note: A message will appear if remote controls are unsupported by your device. See full list of supported Headset Controls with Aircall
- Noise Cancellation (coming soon): Enable to remove background noises from your microphone
Output (Speakers) Settings
- Select Device: Choose your preferred speakers from the dropdown menu
- Test Speakers: Click "Test Speakers" to confirm that audio is working properly
Tips
- Ensure that your selected devices (microphone and speakers) are properly connected to avoid audio issues
- For best results, keep Automatic Levels and Advanced Sound Processing enabled, especially in environments with background noise
