Please note: SMS is currently available only for numbers in the US, Canada, UK, France, Australia, & Germany. MMS is currently available only for US, Canada, and Australia numbers.
Additionally: for UK, FR, AU, and DE only mobile numbers can be used for SMS. If you are using another number type (Geographic/Local, etc) you will be unable to send SMS with that number.
Aircall’s native SMS feature offers one-to-one messaging to better engage prospects and customers, and communicate efficiently.
Sending a Message
Click the Start Conversation button in the vertical menu. Use the search bar to find a contact or directly enter a phone number, then click Send Message. This will take you to the Conversation view, where you can begin messaging with your chosen contact:
You can also start a messaging conversation from the Conversations, Calls, and Contact views.
Once you click on the SMS button, you can start the conversation with the user:
⚠️ Remember, SMS is enabled for domestic service only, so make sure the recipient number is in the same country as the number it is originating from (France for France, and the UK for the UK). The exception is US ↔ Canada which is possible.
