You can configure Google Workspace to work with Aircall’s SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) once it has been activated for your company.

Important: SAML Single Sign-On must be activated by Aircall before you can complete this setup.
If you do not have SAML enabled, please contact our
Customer Success team.
At this time, SAML Single Sign-On is available only to a limited number of customers.

Create a custom SAML app

Steps:

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console using an account with super administrator privileges (this account should not end in @gmail.com).
  2. In the Admin console, navigate to Menu > Apps > Web and mobile apps.

Configure the new SAML application

Steps:

  1. Click Add app > Add custom SAML app.
  2. Enter an app name, for example: acme-saml-aircall.
  3. (Optional) Upload an icon for your app.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. In the Service Provider Details window, enter the following information:
    • ACS URL: https://sso.aircall.io/saml2/idpresponse
    • Entity ID: urn:amazon:cognito:sp:us-west-2_hZkGBmIsz
  6. Click Continue.
  7. In the Name ID window, enter:
    • Name ID format: UNSPECIFIED
    • Name ID: Basic Information > Primary email
  8. Click Continue.
  9. Click Add mapping, then enter the following values:
    • Google Directory attributes: Primary email
    • App attributes: http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2005/05/identity/claims/emailaddress
  10. Click Finish.

Export metadata

Steps:

  1. Open your newly created SSO application (acme-saml-aircall or the name you used in Step 1).
  2. Click Download metadata.
Tip: Keep your metadata file in a secure location. You will need to share it with Aircall to finalize your SAML configuration.

Once these steps are completed, your Google Workspace is ready for integration with Aircall’s SAML Single Sign-On.
