Let's take a look at setting these preferences up:
-
Open your Phone application
-
Click on your User Icon in the upper left-hand corner - you will find your initials or user image there
-
Navigate to Preferences
-
Click on Calling
Pop-up onscreen when app rings
When this feature is activated, the Phone application will be brought forward in front of all other open applications currently opened on your desktop:
Shortcuts
If you don’t want to have to use a mouse, you can choose to activate keyboard shortcuts for picking up, declining, or hanging up your calls.
You can choose from:
- Press "Enter" to pick up
- Press "Esc" to decline
- Press "Esc" to hang up
- Press "Cmd+Shift+M" to mute microphone
Kindly note that enabling the keyboard commands may prevent accidental call rejections.
Please, also note these options are not customizable.
Wrap-up Time
You can choose to set a wrap-up time to complete any tasks that occur after you've ended your conversation. Keep in mind that when you apply a wrap-up time, you will be unable to receive new calls until the wrap-up time has been completed or you have pushed yourself back to available. Now that you've customized your preferences, you're now ready to make and receive calls even more productively!
