Aircall acquired Piper AI, a revenue intelligence and sales orchestration company, in June 2026. The acquisition adds a layer to Aircall's platform that picks up after a conversation ends: turning what happened on a call, email, or message into CRM updates and next steps, without someone doing it by hand.
What Piper AI does
Piper AI tracks a deal across the channels it touches: voice, video, email, text messaging, WhatsApp, and field activity. It converts that activity into structured data and, in some cases, automated actions. Specifically:
• CRM updates: Interactions across channels update CRM records automatically. Meeting notes, email threads, call outcomes, and deal-stage changes sync without manual entry, including support for qualification frameworks like MEDDIC, BANT, and SPICED.
• Meeting types & templates: Different meeting types (discovery, demo, renewal, etc.) get their own note-taking templates and follow-up logic, so output is tailored to the kind of conversation it was.
• Coaching & performance insights: Piper analyzes calls and meetings to surface rep performance trends - talk time, engagement patterns, and scoring over time - so managers can coach with real data instead of anecdotes.
• Playbooks: Teams can define playbooks that Piper checks calls against, flagging where a rep followed or missed key talking points, objection handling, or required topics.
• Automated workflows: Piper can trigger alerts, generate pre-meting brief, analyze how your team is selling, spot missing follow-up email, and carry out next steps on a schedule, independent of a rep manually starting the process.
• Searchable history: Past interactions become searchable, so a rep or manager can look up what happened on a deal without going back through recordings or email threads individually.
