CarPlay lets you make and receive Aircall work calls safely while driving, without touching your iPhone. This article covers what you need and how to get connected.
Important: CarPlay is for iPhone users only. If you use an Android device, it will be available soon.
Before you start: what you need
Check that you have everything below before attempting to connect.
Your phone:
- iPhone running iOS 17 or later
- The Aircall app installed and you are logged in to your account
Your Aircall account:
- An active account with at least one phone number assigned
Your vehicle:
- A CarPlay-compatible vehicle or aftermarket head unit (wired or wireless CarPlay)
- For wired connection: a Lightning or USB-C cable, depending on your iPhone model
- For wireless connection: a vehicle with wireless CarPlay support, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled on your iPhone
Tip: Not sure if your car supports CarPlay? Check your vehicle's manual or visit the Apple CarPlay supported vehicles page.
Connecting your iPhone to CarPlay
Choose your connection method based on your vehicle.

- Connect your iPhone to your car's USB port using a Lightning or USB-C cable, depending on your iPhone model.
- When prompted on your iPhone, tap Allow to enable CarPlay.

Note: Some vehicles require CarPlay to be enabled in the car's settings before first use. If the CarPlay screen does not appear, check your vehicle's manual.
Option B: Wireless connection
Wireless CarPlay is available on select vehicles and requires both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to be enabled on your iPhone, as well as an active mobile internet connection.
Steps:
- Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your iPhone.
- Pair your iPhone with your car via Bluetooth (first-time setup only).
- Once paired, CarPlay connects automatically whenever you get in the car.
Opening Aircall on CarPlay
Once connected, the Aircall icon appears on the CarPlay home screen alongside your other compatible apps.
Steps
- Tap the Aircall icon on the CarPlay home screen.
- Aircall opens directly into the main navigation. No additional steps are needed.
Note: If you see a "Sign in required" message on the CarPlay screen, it means you are not currently logged in to Aircall on your iPhone. Open the Aircall app on your iPhone, sign in, and CarPlay will update automatically.
