This article explains how to enable Live Transcription in Aircall so your agents can view call transcripts in real time during conversations.

Prerequisites

To configure and use Live Transcription, make sure the following requirements are met:

  • There is an Admin user with an assigned AI Assist Pro license who will enable and configure Live Transcription
  • All agents who will use the feature are assigned Pro licenses

How to enable Live Transcription

Live Transcription must be enabled by an Admin user with an AI Assist Pro license.

Steps:

  1. Go to Aircall Dashboard > Numbers.
  2. Click on a number from the list to configure it.
  3. Go to the Settings tab.
  4. Under the Live Assist section, enable the Live Transcription toggle.
  5. Confirm your changes.
Important: Agents must be assigned AI Assist Pro licenses to use Live Transcription during their calls.

Once Live Transcription is enabled on a number, agents with Pro licenses will automatically see the live transcript during calls made with that phone number.
