Before starting the account verification process to upgrade to a paid account from your Aircall Dashboard, please review the following best practices. Following these guidelines will help ensure your verification is completed successfully and without delays.

The best practices below is based on information from stripe.com.

Prepare your documents

You will need the following items to begin the verification process:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID
  • The ID cannot be expired
  • The ID must not be redacted, altered, or damaged, and all edges must be visible
  • The information on your ID must match the information on your Aircall account
Important: Make sure all details on your identification document are clearly visible and match the information on your Aircall account exactly.

Choose the right device

You can complete the verification using either:

  • A computer with a built-in webcam
  • A mobile device with a camera
Tip: Mobile devices typically capture higher-quality images than webcams. Using a smartphone camera may improve your verification success rate.

Capture a clear image

Follow these recommendations to take clear and acceptable photos.

  1. Ensure your image is well-lit but not overexposed. Avoid glare or strong shadows.
  2. Hold your camera steady and allow it to focus before taking the photo to avoid blur.
  3. Do not block any part of your ID document in the photo. Place it flat on a surface when capturing the image.
  4. Do not block any part of your face. Remove sunglasses, masks, or accessories.
  5. Find a location with good ambient lighting. Avoid sitting directly under bright overhead lights or in front of bright windows that could cause glare or wash out your face and ID.
Note: A higher-quality image significantly increases your chance of successful verification.
