The JobAdder integration is available to all Aircall customers at no additional cost beyond the subscriptions for both JobAdder and Aircall. For details on installation and configuration, see the JobAdder v2 setup guide.
Find your contacts on every call
- JobAdder enforces the E.164 phone number format for contacts and candidates, ensuring full compatibility with Aircall.
- When an inbound or outbound call starts using an Aircall number, the integration automatically searches your JobAdder contacts and candidates by phone number.
- If multiple results are found for a contact type, the behavior will depend on the settings you selected during setup.
JobAdder data in Aircall Insight Cards
When a call begins (inbound or outbound) and a JobAdder contact or candidate is identified, related information appears in the Aircall Insight Card.
The displayed details include:
- Contact name and email
- A link to the JobAdder record
- For contacts: Company name and Job title
- For candidates: Recruiter and status
Log calls as JobAdder activities
When a call ends, if the contact or candidate exists in JobAdder, the integration creates a JobAdder activity with the following details:
- Created by → Aircall user
- Type → Phone call
-
Comment body includes:
- Title: Call details
- Call information: ID, contact number, duration, direction, start time
- Aircall information: Username, Aircall number name
- Missed call reason (for inbound missed calls only)
- Tags and comments added by the agent before the call ended. If added later, they appear in a separate section within the same note
- Link to the conversation in the Aircall Dashboard (recording, AI, etc.)
AI insights
If your account is subscribed to the Aircall AI package and a call qualifies for AI-generated content, summaries and key topics are added to the JobAdder activity shortly after the note is created.
Log SMS as JobAdder activities
SMS messages are logged in JobAdder when:
- An SMS is sent or received
- The integration finds a matching JobAdder contact or candidate by phone number
- SMS logging is enabled in the integration settings
Each SMS activity includes:
- Created by → Aircall user
- Type → SMS Conversation or SMS (based on your settings)
- Comment body: Includes title (sent or received), date, Aircall number, and message body
Note: MMS messages are not supported, and images will not be logged.
Logged as conversations or single notes
If Log as conversations is enabled, all SMS messages for a contact or candidate are grouped in the same JobAdder note. Otherwise, each message is logged as a new note.
Note: If a note exceeds 65,535 characters, a new note will be created automatically.
Log tags and comments
When a call that has already ended is tagged or commented on, the integration adds an amendment to the existing JobAdder activity containing the tag or comment information.
Click to dial
JobAdder’s native functionality supports click-to-dial. When you click a number in JobAdder, it automatically opens your Aircall Workspace.
To enable this feature:
- Download and install the Aircall Workspace desktop app.
- Set it as your default calling app.
1-way contact sync
When a call starts, JobAdder contacts can be automatically added to Aircall if the following conditions are met:
- A matching contact is found in JobAdder but not in Aircall
- Contact sync is enabled in the integration settings
Secure setup and Aircall number selection
The integration uses OAuth authentication for a secure and simple setup process. If you are logged in as an admin, you can install the integration in just a few clicks.
During installation, you can choose which Aircall numbers to connect to JobAdder. The integration logs call activity for inbound and outbound calls only from the selected numbers.
Note: Currently, calls are logged only for existing contacts in JobAdder.
If a contact does not yet exist, the call log will not be registered.
To ensure activity is logged, manually create the new contact in JobAdder before making the call.
