With Aircall Workspace, you can easily make internal calls to teammates who also use Aircall.
Overview
Internal calls allow Aircall users to connect with teammates directly within the Aircall Workspace. These calls are free and do not appear in the Call History section.
Important: You must be assigned to at least one number before you can make internal calls.
Making an internal call
Follow these steps to start an internal call in Aircall Workspace.
Steps:
Go to Aircall Workspace > Start conversation in the vertical menu.
-
Type your teammate’s name in the search bar.
Alternatively, navigate to Contacts > Teammates to find and call an available teammate.
Click to initiate the call.
If your teammate is unavailable, you will not be able to start the call.
When the call begins, your toolbar with primary in-call actions will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Limitations of internal calls
Internal calls differ from standard Aircall calls in several ways. Keep the following restrictions in mind:
Calls are not recorded
Calls are not transferable
You cannot add notes
You cannot add tags
You cannot assign these calls
You can include a maximum of five participants in an internal call
Note: Parallel calling cannot be used with internal calls or calls between teammates.
