The Aircall app provides customizable keyboard shortcuts to help you perform key actions quickly and efficiently. With these shortcuts, you can manage calls, start conversations, and update your availability without navigating through multiple menus.

Accessing shortcuts settings

Steps:

  1. Open Settings in Aircall Workspace.

  2. Select Shortcuts from the menu on the left.

Available shortcuts

Conversation

  • Start a new conversation: ⌥ + N

Calling

These shortcuts allow you to manage calls seamlessly:

  • Pick up a call: ⌥ + P
  • Decline a call: ⌥ + E
  • Hang up: ⌥ + E
  • Mute microphone: ⌥ + M

Status

Update your availability status quickly using these shortcuts.

  • Become available: ⌥ + A
  • Become unavailable: ⌥ + U
  • Switch to scheduled status: ⌥ + S
Note: If you use a status shortcut while on an active call, your status will only change after the call ends.

Tips for Using Shortcuts

  • Use these shortcuts to streamline your workflow, especially if you frequently switch between calls and need quick control over your status.
  • For the Status shortcuts, remember that changes only apply after a call ends if used during an active call.

Additional Information

  • The ⌥ symbol represents the Option key on MacOS. For Windows, use the Alt key as a substitute.
  • Keyboard shortcuts only work when the web or desktop app is active and in focus.
Note: This restriction helps prevent unintended or malicious actions, such as hidden keyloggers, password theft, or unauthorized background activity.
