If you run Aircall and Microsoft Teams at the same time, ending a call in one app may unexpectedly drop the call in the other.

Symptom

Disconnecting a call in Aircall or in Microsoft Teams can cause the active call in the other app to end as well.

Cause

In Microsoft Teams, the Sync device buttons setting is enabled by default. This can create interference between call controls in Teams and Aircall.

Note: In Teams, Sync device buttons is found in device settings and is on by default.

Solution

  1. Open Microsoft Teams.

  2. Go to Settings > Devices.

  3. Toggle Sync device buttons to Off.
