Symptom

You are signed in to the Aircall Workspace iOS app, but inbound calls are not ringing.

Possible causes

  • Unstable or unavailable internet connection
  • Aircall mobile app is out of date
  • User status is set to Unavailable
  • Notifications for Aircall are disabled on the iPhone
  • Focus mode is enabled on the iPhone
  • iOS SDK limitations affecting ring time

Solution

Steps:

  1. Verify the device is connected to the internet and that the connection is stable.
    • If needed, switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data to compare performance.
  2. Confirm the Aircall app is up to date.
  3. Open the app and set your availability status to Available.
  4. Ensure notifications are allowed for the Aircall app on the iPhone.
  5. Check that Focus mode is off on the iPhone.
Note: Due to iOS mobile SDK restrictions, the Aircall Workspace iOS app can only ring for up to 1 minute, even if a longer ring time is configured in the number’s call distribution flow.
