When your Aircall subscription is amended, you may receive either a credit note or a new invoice depending on the nature of the change. This article explains how amendments are processed, what to expect on your invoice, and how to get support if needed.
According to our terms and conditions (13.1.b), any contract modifications, including amendments or cancellations, must be submitted at least 30 days before your contract's renewal date. This advance notice ensures there is enough time to process the changes before any automatic renewal, which would otherwise continue under the terms of your original plan.
Case #1: My contract has been amended and I’m expecting a credit note
In some cases, a contract amendment results in a credit (for example, when reducing the number of users or phone numbers).
There is no need to contact our Customer Support team because our Billing Team actively monitors all subscription changes and will automatically issue any required credit notes once the amendment has been processed.

- Quantity of users/numbers: The original contract included 10 users. After the amendment, the total number of users is now 6. The corresponding bundles were adjusted.
- Period billed: The billing period for the 4 removed users represents 87% of the month, covering the period from July 10, 2024 (amendment date) to August 5, 2024 (end of the monthly invoiced period).
Case #2: My contract has been amended and I’m expecting a new invoice
Tip: Subscription upgrades can be requested at any time.
If you recently upgraded your subscription - for instance, by adding new users, numbers, or add-ons - a new invoice will be generated to reflect these changes. This invoice will follow the terms discussed and confirmed with your account manager.

Example of amendment invoice
- Quantity of users/numbers: The original contract included 37 users. After the amendment, the total number of users is now 52 (37 existing users + 15 new users).
- Period billed: The billing period for the 15 new users covers 6.9 months, from June 1, 2024, to December 28, 2024 (end of the plan).
