When using Aircall on an iPhone, it is important to ensure you have the best connection possible to your network.

If you are using Aircall's iOS application while connected to Wi-Fi and are experiencing call quality issues, there are a few solutions you can try that may improve your connection and call quality.

Toggling Airplane Mode

Completely disconnecting from your network and then reconnecting, by toggling Airplane mode on then off again, may allow a more stable connection to be established.

Forgetting your Network

If disconnecting and reconnecting does not help, then choosing to completely forget your network in your mobile device may.

Navigate to your Wi-Fi page and click on the network you are connected to:

You will be redirected to a page where you can select "Forget This Network":

After forgetting your network, you will need to reenter your Wi-Fi password when reconnecting.

Reseting Your Network Settings

If you are still facing connection issues, a possible solution would be to reset all of your network settings.

Navigate to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone:

Click "Reset", then "Reset Network Settings":

⚠️ Please note: Resetting your network settings will delete all saved Wi-Fi passwords and VPN settings.

Once you have reset your settings, reconnect to your network.

Manually Configure your DNS

Another potential solution is to manually configure your DNS.

Navigate to your Wi-Fi network, then select "Configure DNS":

Select "Manual", then "Add Server" to add a new DNS server:

Some public, high-speed, DNS servers you may choose to use include:

Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

Cloudfare: 1.1.1.1

Quad9: 9.9.9.9

Turn off Wi-Fi Assist

Although designed to help with your connection, occasionally Wi-Fi Assist may cause issues that can be resolved by disabling it.

To disable, navigate to Settings > Cellular > Wi-Fi Assist (found by scrolling towards the bottom of the Cellular page):

Resetting your Devices

When experiencing network or connection issues, simply resetting your router or mobile device can often times improve the issue.
