Geographic (local) numbers

Geographic numbers are local phone numbers assigned to a specific geographic region. They are typically used by local businesses that want to establish a presence in a particular city or area.

National numbers

National numbers are not tied to a specific geographic location and can be reached from anywhere within the country at the same cost (rates may vary for calls from mobile phones). Since these numbers are not region-specific, the geodata for a national number reflects the country as a whole.

Toll-free numbers

Toll-free numbers allow customers to contact your business without incurring call charges. Instead, your business covers the cost of incoming calls.

These numbers are generally reachable only within the same country and from numbers that share the same country prefix. In some regions, such as Canada and the USA, reachability can extend beyond national borders.
