When browsing the web, you may occasionally run into phone numbers that are links.

Both the MacOS and Windows operating systems have the functionality to allow these links to open a set application, meaning that you can easily set numbers to automatically dial in Aircall. Please find steps on configuring this for each operating system below:

MacOS

  • Open and sign in to FaceTime

  • In the menu bar at the top of your Mac’s screen, click the FaceTime drop-down

  • Click preferences

  • In the drop down for “Default for calls,” select “Aircall” or "Aircall Workspace" based on the current used version.

Windows 10

  • Click on the Windows Menu

  • Go to Settings

  • Find “Default Apps”

  • On the Default Apps page, find and click “Choose default apps by protocol”

  • On this page, scroll down and find “TEL” or “URL:Tel Protocol”

  • Set the app to “Aircall”
