Aircall’s Microsoft Teams integration allows you to access Aircall directly inside Teams, manage contacts, and place calls without switching apps. This article explains the key features of the integration so your team can work more efficiently across both platforms.
Pin Aircall in Microsoft Teams
You can pin the Aircall app in Microsoft Teams for quick, easy access from the left sidebar.
Contacts Tab
The Aircall app in Teams includes a Contacts section where you can:
Search for your Aircall contacts
Add new contacts
Call contacts using the Aircall phone
Add contacts to Aircall from Microsoft Teams
There are two ways to create a new Aircall contact directly from Teams:
From a message:
Hover over a message
Select the three dots
Choose More actions
Select Add contact
From the Contacts tab:
Open Contacts
Click Add new
Enter the contact details
Contact search and calling cards
You can search your Aircall contacts in Teams by selecting the Aircall icon in any chat or channel and typing the contact’s name.
Note: The contact list shows your recent contacts. Users must enter at least three letters or four numbers to begin searching. Only one of the contact’s saved phone numbers will appear.
Once a contact is selected, you can send a Calling Card in the chat or channel. Calling Cards include:
The contact’s details
A link to the contact’s profile in your CRM
Options to call the contact or download their vCard
Call with Aircall
You can place calls directly from a message:
Hover over a message
Select the three dots
Choose More actions
Select Call with Aircall
This replaces the previous click to dial method and allows you to launch calls from within Microsoft Teams using the Aircall app.
