When using Aircall through a computer telephony integration embedded in a web application such as Salesforce, you must allow microphone access at three different levels: your operating system, the Chrome browser, and the specific integration website. All three are required for audio to work correctly.
Operating system permissions
Your operating system must allow the Chrome application to access the microphone.

- Click Privacy & Security.
- Select Microphone.
- Locate Google Chrome in the application list.
- Toggle the switch on to grant access.
Important: After changing macOS permissions, Chrome may prompt you to restart. Select Quit & Reopen.
If no prompt appears, fully close and relaunch Chrome to apply the changes.
Windows
Steps:
- Open Settings using the Windows key + I.

- When Chrome displays a pop up stating that the integration partner wants to use your microphone, select Allow.
Method 2: Manual adjustment using the padlock icon

- Click the Padlock icon on the left side of the address bar.
