New users created for your Aircall account will need to be added to a number in order to Make and Receive calls and SMS if eligible.
To add your users to a number in your Aircall dashboard, you would not use the Team& Users section but the Call distribution section to add them to the Line.
The Team&Users section would be used to add a user to the Outgoing Calls Only which is explained here: Enabling Your Number for Outgoing Calling Only
Once you are in the Call Distribution, you will select the Green Edit button on the top right.
This will load to show your full call distribution and the circles that you can click on for changes.
After you select the circle, it will give you a dropdown for all Options. The one you will select is Ring to with the Green Phone icon.
It will have a few choices which start with the Ring to option. You would start typing in an agent, team, or number in that section to locate them for distribution. *Ensure you type in the Agent or Teams with Correct Punctuation in order to find the agent or Team to add.*
With adding only to an agent, you will have to select the time to ring to under there and also choose if you would like the Ring even if busy option toggled on.
Once you are done adding the agent or teams, click on the Green publish button on the top right and that user will now have access to use that Aircall number for calls and SMS.
