France tax
In accordance with French tax regulations, and since Aircall's legal address is in France, the 20% VAT is applied exclusively to the total invoice amount for companies with billing addresses in France.
European union countries taxes
In accordance with the VAT directive, countries that are part of the European Union can be tax-exempt by applying the reverse charge mechanism (auto liquidation). Therefore, a VAT number is mandatory on your Aircall account.
Please provide the Aircall EU VAT number if your business is based in the European Union.
- For Spain, the VAT number format is ESXXXXXXXXX.
- For Germany, the VAT number format is DEXXXXXXXXX.

To find the currently registered VAT number on your account, follow these steps:
- In your Aircall Dashboard, navigate to your company name in the lower left corner.
- Click on the "Billing" tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page, where you will see the "Billing Information" section.
- Once there, you will be able to see the VAT number registered on your account.
Non-European union countries taxes
For non-European Union countries like Switzerland and Norway, a VAT number will be required if the company wishes it to appear on the invoice PDF.Â
- For Switzerland, the VAT number format is CHXXXXXXXXX.
- For Norway, the VAT number format is NOXXXXXXXXX.
Aircall will not charge taxes for those countries.

Where can I access my taxes and commissions?
- Navigate to your company name in the lower left corner of your Aircall Dashboard.
- Click on the "Billing" tab.Â
- Go to the "Invoices" section.
- Open the invoice you wish to view.
- Scroll to the bottom of the invoice, where you will find a section titled "Total"
- Within the "Total" section, you can view the detailed breakdown of taxes and the applied percentage.
How does Aircall determine my taxes and commissions liability?
Your tax profile is based on your Company’s billing address. Please check the top right-hand corner of your Invoice PDF to confirm your billing address.
I was not paying taxes before, so why do I need to pay now?
Aircall routinely evaluates its legal obligations regarding tax collection and remittance. Based on such reviews, Aircall will implement tax changes from time to time to stay compliant with all government regulatory and tax requirements.
