Users now have the ability to perform a speaker and microphone “quality check” to ensure the devices they are using have the quality desired to prevent audio issues during calls.
By recording and listening back to audio on their microphones, as well as listening to test sounds on their speakers, users can double check the quality and performance of the audio devices they are using for calls.
How to test your speakers and microphone quality
This feature is available in the Settings of the phone, under Settings > Preferences > Sounds:
Aircall will also suggest to users to perform a quality test at certain times, or after certain conditions:
- After onboarding on the application
- After a bad rating call (if the user choses the “Others couldn’t hear me / I couldn’t hear them” option)
- After a call with “low volume” detected (in the call-ended view)
