This article explains which integrations support MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service), how MMS can be used, and how MMS activity is logged in supported CRMs.
Integrations that support MMS functionality
MMS functionality is available for the following third-party integrations:
- HubSpot
- Salesforce, except for the Salesforce Sales Engagement integration
- Pipedrive
Sending MMS through CRM integrations
You can send MMS through the following CRM integrations:
- HubSpot
- Salesforce, except for the Salesforce Sales Engagement integration
- Pipedrive
MMS can be sent directly from the supported integration interfaces, following the same workflow as SMS.
Logging MMS activity logged in the CRM
MMS activity is now logged in the CRM for the following integrations:
- HubSpot
- Salesforce
- Pipedrive
Both sent and received MMS messages are recorded in the CRM activity timeline, allowing full visibility into customer conversations, including media attachments.
Note: The exact placement and format of logged MMS activities may vary depending on the CRM.
Salesforce Sales Engagement integration limitations
MMS functionality is not available in the Salesforce Sales Engagement integration.
This means that:
- MMS cannot be sent through this integration.
- MMS activity is not logged in Salesforce when using Sales Engagement.
Important: If MMS is a key part of your workflow, use the standard Salesforce integration or another supported CRM instead of Salesforce Sales Engagement.
Summary
- MMS is supported in HubSpot, Salesforce (excluding Sales Engagement), and Pipedrive.
- MMS can be sent from these integrations.
- MMS activity is now logged in the CRM for all supported integrations.
