The Audio widget in Smartflows allows you to play a customized message to callers at any point in your call flow. This can be useful for greetings, announcements, call-back instructions, or any general information you want callers to hear.
Configure the Audio widget
After adding the Audio widget to your Smartflow, click on it to open the widget editor. Here you can configure the following settings:
Message title
- This optional field lets you name the widget for easier identification.
- Adding a descriptive title helps you understand the widget’s purpose within the flow at a glance.
Note: Message titles are optional. You can publish a flow even if the Audio widget does not have a name.
Type of message
You can choose from three options to define how the audio message will be delivered:
| Message Type | Description |
| Text to Speech | Type a message that will be read aloud to callers using a selected voice and language. You can preview the message before publishing to ensure it sounds as expected. |
| Custom file | Upload a pre-recorded audio file (.mp3 format only). The file must be valid and uncorrupted to upload successfully. |
| Record file | Record an audio message directly within the Aircall dashboard to be played for your callers. |
Tip: Use Text to Speech for quick updates, and Custom or Recorded files for branded or professional-quality messages.
With the Audio widget, you can provide clear, consistent messaging to your callers at key moments in their journey through your Smartflow.
