Users with an admin and/or owner role can easily add users directly from the dashboard in two ways: individually, and in bulk (i.e. multiple users at the same time). Admins can create users with an agent, supervisor, and admin role, whereas owners can create users with an owner role (click here to read more).

To add multiple users at the same time, click on Create one or multiple users on the top right hand side of the Users page on the dashboard. A drop down menu will appear. Then, click Create multiple users.
Adding multiple users in bulk
Adding multiple users at once is a straightforward process involving four simple steps:
- Prepare a document containing the necessary user information, defined below.
- Upload the document directly to the Aircall Dashboard.
- The Aircall system will promptly send invitation emails to all newly added users, prompting them to confirm their accounts by clicking the activation button.
- Review the summary to verify the successful creation of the users.
Each step is as follows:
1. Prepare a document containing the necessary user information
The first step is to create a CSV (comma-separated values) document containing your user details, which should include:
- First and last name
⚠️ Emojis - see the list here - are not allowed in First Name and Last Name fields.
- Email address
- Role (agent, admin, supervisor, or owner)
- Note: The agent role is pre-selected, enabling users to make and receive calls via the Aircall app. All Aircall users have this ability and thus have the agent role.
- Note: Users with the owner role are exclusively capable of creating other users with the owner role. This option will be grayed out for users without an owner role.

2. Upload the document directly to the Aircall Dashboard
Once your document is ready, click ‘Ready to upload’. You can now upload your CSV file to the dashboard either by dragging and dropping your file into the grey upload area, or by clicking click to upload to open a window where you can select and upload your CSV file.
3. Validation of users by email
Newly created users will receive an invitation email that includes a confirmation button, which must be validated to activate their account.
⚠️ User invitations remain valid for 15 days. Should an invitation expire, administrators can resend the invitation.
4. Review the summary to verify the successful creation of the users.
The last step in the user creation flow is to review a summary of the actions taken. This will confirm:
- The users that have been successfully created and the invitations that have been successfully sent.
- Any users that could not be created.

In addition, the system will send you an email with the details of the users created and any errors that occurred in the user creation process, if applicable.
