Your SMS from US numbers will be blocked by Carriers unless you’re compliant with A2P10DLC
Overview
Customers who send SMS from US numbers must register with the TCR to be compliant with US Telco Regulation, A2P10DLC (Application 2 Person 10 Digit Long Code) otherwise, your SMS traffic will be blocked from sending. This is not an Aircall regulation, but rather the U.S. Telecommunications making efforts to protect consumers and improve the delivery of legitimate text messages.
Register here as soon as possible.
Please note: registration can take a few weeks to be approved by The Campaign Registry due to volume. Our support team cannot expedite the registration process. If you have already submitted your registration, all updates will be provided directly on your support ticket.
After September 1st, 2023, all messages sent from unregistered 10DLC phone numbers to US numbers will be blocked by the carrier. If your account is not registered for some version of SMS compliance, your messages will not be delivered by the carriers to intended US recipients.
We strongly recommend registering ASAP to be compliant to avoid disruption in SMS service. To help ensure your registration is successful, find this Form Details guide and pay close attention to the fields where it says “be precise”.
For customers whose registration process is not yet completed
SMS will not be received on the US network from unregistered phone numbers. Each customer must register. This process takes some time, as it requires the TCR to review, validate and register your business information.
