This is an overview of how you can use Aircall connected with Salesloft. If you would like to learn how to configure your Salesloft integration, click here.
Call activity is automatically logged in Salesloft:
- All calls are automatically logged as Call Notes along with key details about the call, including whether it was inbound or outbound, answered or missed, and the name of the Aircall line that was used
- Call comments captured in Aircall are also logged, along with a link to the call recording
Tags Logging
Tags added to the calls during the call or at end of the call will be added to person/contact profile in Salesloft.
⚠️ Please note: If a tag is added after a call has ended (from the call history), then Aircall will append or add it to Person/contact profile. However, If a tag is removed AND a new tag is added, no action will be taken to remove it from Salesloft. You can manually removed it from person/contact profile in Salesloft.
⚠️ If a tag already exist on a person/contact profile in Salesloft, it wont be added again.
See who’s calling and access Salesloft records with one click
With Aircall’s Insight Cards, a link to Contact or Lead information in Salesloft will be displayed on Aircall as soon as the phone rings, or while you’re on the phone.
Sync Aircall tags with your cadence tags
Save time on every call by getting rid of manual data entry. Use Aircall tags to change the Person Stage cadence in Salesloft automatically after a call:
- Select Call Settings → Tags the left side menu bar
- Add one tag for each cadence stage, e.g. Completed, Bounced, etc. Each time an agent tags a call as "Completed" in Aircall, the contact stage will be switched to "Completed" in Salesloft
For more details visit: How To Create Tags That Auto-update A Cadence Stage In Salesloft
⚠️ Please note, it's recommended to use Tags mapped to a specific Person stage, and avoid adding tags which are mapped to multiple Person stages. In the case that multiple tags mapping to Person Stages are added to a call, only the initial one will be considered when changing the Person stage.
Cadence Automation
By using the Cadence automation settings in the Salesloft integration you can choose if a Phone Type step in a Cadence for a contact/person should be marked as complete automatically. This feature doesn't require you to import any cadence info in to Aircall. You can define the cadence and add steps to it in Salesloft, as well as add contacts/persons to the cadence. Once a call is initiated for a contact/person, Aircall will check if that person/contact is added to a Cadence and whether any step of Type Phone is due for that contact/person. Based on the Cadence automation settings, Aircall will mark the step as complete for that contact/person in Salesloft and won't require you to manually update the step in Salesloft.
Contact Creation
Based on the CRM integrated with Salesloft during installation (i.e. Salesforce or HubSpot, or even if no CRM is integrated) you can use settings in the Salesloft integration to automatically create contacts in the CRM as well as Salesloft.
Disposition and Sentiment Logging
Using the Salesloft integration Settings, you can map Aircall tags to call dispositions and sentiments in Salesloft, and use Tags to indicate which sentiment and disposition should be logged for a call.
Accepted number formats
Currently, only the E.164 number format is supported.
Troubleshooting
- This integration requires a 3-way sync between Aircall, Salesloft, and Salesforce or HubSpot, if you have chosen one of these CRMs during installation
- Your Aircall account must be configured with your Salesloft account
- Lead or Contact records in Salesloft must be synced with Salesforce or HubSpot in order for this integration to work, if you have chosen one of these CRMs during installation. However, if a contact doesn't exist in Salesforce or HubSpot, but it exists in Salesloft, insight cards will still be displayed, and calls will be logged
- If the caller details do not appear within Aircall, check to make sure that the number is associated with a Contact or Lead within the CRM integrated (Salesforce or HubSpot). It should be associated with a contact in Salesloft, and the number should be stored in the E164 format
- Please note: Salesloft has a native CTI/Dialer which is not integrated with Aircall. Any calls made through this dialer will not be connected via Aircall, and will not log in Salesloft or your Aircall history. For dialing, please make use of our Desktop or Web app, including using our Click-to-Dial feature to copy a phone number directly from Salesloft to either one!
