💡 Please make sure that Aircall's CTI package has been installed, then install Aircall's SMS Add-on package to ensure all relevant SMS information is logged in Salesforce.
Installing Aircall's SMS Add-on package for Salesforce
With Aircall's SMS Add-on package, four new custom fields will be added to you Salesforce environment:
aircall2gp__SMS_Direction__c (visible as 'SMS Direction' in Salesforce) will show if the message was Inbound or Outbound
aircall2gp__SMS_Sent_From__c (visible as 'SMS Sent From' in Salesforce) will show the number the message was sent from
aircall2gp__SMS_Sent_To__c (visible as 'SMS Sent To' in Salesforce) will show the number the message was sent to
aircall2gp__SMS_Status__c (visible as 'SMS Status' in Salesforce) will show the message as Received for inbound messages, or Sent, Delivered, or Undelivered for outbound messages
⚠️ Please note that the Aircall SMS Add-on package is not required for SMS logging to function, but will allow more detailed information to be shown on each call log in Salesforce.
To install, please follow the steps below:

Log in to your Salesforce account

Select Install for All Users, click on Install and select Done
⚠️ Please note, since SMS logging is still in Beta, you may see a warning that Aircall's SMS Add-on package is not yet verified. Please check the box to acknowledge you are installing a 'Non-Salesforce Application' before clicking Install
Enabling SMS Logging

Log in to the Aircall Dashboard

Go to Integrations & API and select your Salesforce V3 integration

Navigate to General Settings or Salesforce Settings (depending on your Dashboard layout) and change Enable SMS Logging to Yes
How Does SMS Log?
Each inbound and outbound SMS will log as a Task, and follows the same General Settings as calls
